GHS Seniors and a parent are invited to attend a FAFSA night in the GHS Cafeteria on Wednesday February 21 at 6:00 pm. Representatives from Blinn will be on campus to help in completing FAFSA forms.

Tomorrow Night, in the GHS Cafetorium, Representatives from Blinn Dual Credit program will be here to present information to 10th and 11th grade students and their parents about taking Dual Credit Courses next school year. This is a great opportunity to see what GHS has to offer for early college credit earnings while in high school.

Wednesday January 24: Due to heavy rain & flooding in our area there is a 2 hour delay this morning.
This Saturday, at the first judging of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Competition, two GHS students advanced to the final show. The final show is made up of 600 artworks from 110 school districts. The top 74 artworks will be selected from the 600 artworks in March.
Senior, Cassidy Lucas received a "Best of Show", along with Senior, Julie Pos, who received a "Gold" award. Both are eligible for scholarships, workshops, and cash awards. If you see them, wish them luck!
Giddings ISD will return to normal school hours of operation tomorrow (Wednesday, January 16th).
Due to hazardous weather conditions, Giddings ISD will be canceling all classes for Tuesday, January 16. A decision regarding school Wedenesday and other related school events will be made on Tuesday afternoon.

GHS Student Council wrap Christmas gifts after school for local families. StuCo, with the help of other GHS organizations, was able to adopt 10 Giddings families this season. Good Job and way to make us Buffalo Proud
