Giddings ISD Announces Chad Seitz as New Principal of Giddings High School

Giddings Independent School District is proud to announce the hiring of Chad Seitz as the new principal of Giddings High School. With over two decades of experience in public education, Mr. Seitz brings a deep commitment to student success, instructional leadership, and campus safety.

Mr. Seitz most recently served as Lead Assistant Principal at Lehman High School in Hays CISD, where he played a pivotal role in campus operations, student discipline, staff support, and safety coordination. His previous administrative roles at Lehman High School, Canyon Lake High School, and Smithville High School have equipped him with a broad perspective and hands-on experience across a range of school settings.

"We are excited to welcome Chad Seitz to Giddings High School," said Dr. Ray DeSpain, Superintendent of Giddings ISD. "His dedication to fostering positive student outcomes, his strength in communication, and his leadership experience make him a great fit for our school and community."

Mr. Seitz holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Concordia University Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. He holds multiple Texas educator certifications, including Principal EC-12, Special Education, and Social Studies Composite. Throughout his career, he has also served as a lead teacher, athletic coach, and campus testing coordinator.
