The Giddings Lady Buff Volleyball Team is proud to announce that they are a recipient of the 2020-2021 United States Marine Corps-American Volleyball Coaches Association (USMC/AVCA) Team Academic Award. It is the 3rd consecutive year that the Lady Buffs have received the award.
Team members include: Paige Aguilar, Sierra Beasley, Kassidy Beisert, Alyssa Brade, Sadie Claxton, Jamie Doggett, Malia Droegemueller, Grace Fromme, Emily Gruetzner, Haley Henderson, Tiyanna Jones, Ryan Melcher, Brooklyn Walther, Cici Wolridge, and Faith Zoch.
The team was coached by Dedra Wolff, Art Behrend, and Whitney Rachunek.
The Lady Buffs are among an elite group of only 413 high school teams across the nation to receive this award. Only 39 of these teams are from Texas.
