GMS Boys Basketball takes on Sealy @ Sealy on Thursday, December 7th. The 7th Grade A Team and 8th Grade B Team will begin at 5:30, followed by the 7th Grade B Team and 8th Grade A Team at 6:30. Go Buffs!!!

The GMS Jr. Beta Club is hosting a canned food drive! Students should bring cans and leave them in the drop box located in their Buff Time teacher's classroom. The winning Buff Time will earn a special prize that you DONUT want to miss! The Buff Time that brings the most cans will receive a DONUT PARTY!

Join us on December 5th at 7 PM for the GISD Winter Concert which will take place in the GHS Cafeteria. GMS Parents and Teachers: Come early, snag a good parking spot for the concert, and join us in the GMS Library for the December PTO meeting at 6:15.

Summer meals open to the community will be offered at Giddings Elementary School. Monday through Thursday - beginning Tuesday, May 30th through Thursday, June 29th. From GMS Band Director Mr. Anthony Tiger: On Friday 3/25, the 6th grade band competed in the Blinn College Music Meet. Our first year band students earned a first division rating from all three judges. In addition to the competition, the band toured the Blue Bell Creamery, had pizza at Mr. Gatti's, and went to Horseshoe Junction. Our students not only performed well, but they were on their best behavior. At every stop, the directors were stopped and told how well our children were acting. Thank you for all your support.
