Giddings Independent School District announced today that it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the {2025-2026 school year.

Giddings Middle School office will be closed on Tuesday, August 5th due to mandatory District and Campus meetings. Office will reopen on Aug. 6th.

📢Reminder: 7th graders who needed immunizations. Please get them to Mrs. Siegmund ASAP. 📌Schedules will be held until this is satisfied.

REMINDER ABOUT PHYSICALS! All 7th and 8th grade athletes must have a current physical on file to participate in sports this year and be in athletics. VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS WILL BEGIN ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PHYSICAL ON FILE, YOU CANNOT TRY OUT.

Reminder: Summer Office Hours GMS will be closed June 26 - July 25 We will open Monday July 28 at 9 AM

Parents, You are now able to see your child’s STAAR results in the Parent Portal. There is a green link labeled “Texas Assessment.” Click on this link to view your child’s scores for this year. You will need your user ID and password. If you are having trouble remembering this information: Click on: Forgot my User ID or Forgot my password. The Parent Portal can be accessed on the Giddings ISD webpage under the “Parent” tab.

We need any CURRENT student enrollment packets and required registration forms turned back in by Thursday, June 12th. This was the paperwork that was sent home on May 5th. We have to have the yearly required registration forms back for students to remain registered and receive a schedule for the 2025-2026 school year. If you need another copy, please come on up to the Front Office. We appreciate your support and help with this!

All GMS library books are due back on Friday, May 9th. Students have been given reminder slips at school, and notices have also been mailed home if books are still checked out to them. Any books returned after May 9th will have a fine attached to the student's library account. Thank you for returning all books so that we can get the library ready for next year!
